WHAT HAPPENS IN PHOTOSHOP...

Yeah.....sooooooo.......just took another batch of photos for the newspaper column. And just for the record, if you hear talk of 'deleting moles,' full 'face and neck airbrushing' and 'mouse click chin minimizing,' well, don't you believe a word of it, folks.

Especially the one about moving one of my eyeballs a full half inch up or down. That's just crazy talk.

Because as everybody knows~what HAPPENS in Photoshop, STAYS in Photoshop!

Isn't that right, Kara? (two fingered off-kilter eyeball point)

You forgot to mention how when we talk to people we are photoshopping ourselves. Like right now. My teeth are whiter. And my mole has been removed. And my hair made thicker. Just for me saying HI to you. Yep - I'm that vain.

And apparently you are too .. because you wanted your eye shifted down. Or up. Can't remember. It was so traumatic to think about. Why did you force me to do something like that? I should have shot you from below - the most flattering angle. Smile. Smile harder. Bigger. YES - that's it. SOOOO pretty!

No really though - you ARE gorgeous. And everyone knows that everyone is photoshopped. All the time. Let me let you, let you let me, let us both.

LOVE your PIC, you SASSY VIXEN, you!! You're HAWT!!

GREAT job Kara!! You MUST be related to that FAMOUS/AWESOME photographer Robert Wood!!! My HERO!! Whenever someone says they like something I took, I always think, "Well, it's no Robert Wood!" HAH!! Always have to have a goal... Right? :D

Honestly, I have to know of other women that use Photoshop extensively... When YOU put on make up, do you think "delete, delete, slight sharpen, slight blur" as you apply various products to your face like I do? BAHAHAHA!!!

HA! Almost Hubs and I went out for the night, but by the time the pics were taken, most of my make up was gone. An hour later in photo shop, I was looking fabulous! It's now my FB pic. :)

I've seen you in real life too and I don't think you need to be photo shopped. You're beautiful just the way you are! That picture is gorgeous though. Mimi

I LOVE Photoshop, but being a person who uses it often I know life is so much easier when the person is pretty to begin with. There is no way to make an ugly person look good. And that picture is pretty awesome, which means you are beautiful to begin with.

I look like I've had a face-paralyzing stroke when I try to wink OR try to smile without my teeth showing. You look beautiful doing both. P.S. I love your blog. Thanks for giving a random stranger a laugh (almost) every day!

I live for airbrushing. All the time, everyday. EXCEPT for the one time the guy moved my eye and I ended up looking like a pit bull. I'm not kidding... I changed from human to dog in the blink of an eye. However, You look gorgeous in your photo!

just had to add that right after I saw this post I went to facebook and one of my "friends" had posted a WAY over-photoshopped picture of herself. You could see the blurriness in the background where she had made her leg, stomach, and even forearm skinnier..

isn't our day and age interesting..

Once again, darlings, you've shown yourselves to be true friends in accepting my photoshopped status and not passing unrighteous judgment. I love you forever!
