MUG BATH

Boiler is still busted, or at least newly busted. Bless it's ice cold, irresponsible heart.

The HVAC man said, "Well, I've got good news and bad news." Looks like we'll have to wait until TOMORROW NIGHT to even find out how much the bad news costs to install.

And CLEARLY, Princess Lisa was not created from pioneer stock, as just like a pea at the bottom of 100 mattresses, she finds this turn of events annoying, uncomfortable and slathered in "EW".

SO ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY BREAK, PEOPLE! If you need me, I'll be microwaving mugs full of hot water. And no. It's not for cocoa, but rather...

...To bathe in.

Merry Christmas to me.

Looks like this week is tough for the whole family. All four of my darlings are sick with fevers, I have not shopped one bit for your brother...I was planing on doing it today, but I decided to run a hospital ward instead. Lucky me.... and lucky you. We must be righteous to be tried like this, on this of all weeks. :) Hope to make it until Christmas and to see you soon. :)

Got the same thing, (kind of), here. Seth sickly, Jules coughing, boiler out, no heating in floor, short on presents. Luckily I don't have little ones needing constant attention...AND...no mansick. THANK THE HEAVENS ABOVE! Good luck, Nat. Hope they're all better by Christmas Eve and we can be festive together.

Ahhhh man - Well if it makes you feel any better my oven - the one that broke on the eve of Thanksgiving - Yeah, IT'S STILL FREAKIN BROKEN!! They cannot find the part. Holy Cow!
What is it with these appliances and the holidays?
Enjoy your cocoa bath my dear :-D

BIG boiler pots for canning may work quicker... LOL!! That's quite a bummer. I'm sorry this had to happen NOW!! Not that it's ever a convenient time... I hope Mr HVAC lets you keep a few limbs when he's done... ((HUGS))

Hey, don't you have a cabin in park city that you can go live in until it's fixed? If not, I think you've got a PRETTY good case to buy one.

You might be eligible for a tax credit if you get an "energy-efficient heater." You should look into it!

I hope your hot cocoa bath is lovely.. you should really use cocoa in it.

It's time to live in the trailer!!! Pioneers didn't even HAVE trailers so you're one step ahead! Seriously, I will let the WHOLE Relief Society know of your lack of hot water and have each of them boil a mug for you. It's all about sacrifice and service Lis and we are willing to sacrifice a cup of water for you! AND thanks for the little jab about the batteries in the newsletter. Remind me to slap you upside of the head next time I see you!!!

OK, now I'm really serious...If you need a HOT shower--there's plenty here for you. I may even supply the soap-on-the-rope if needed.

Merry Christmas dear friend!!! Anony :)

I hereby offer the services of my shower.

Plus I just checked the weather. It's going to be 80 here tomorrow.

This would be when I'd go rent a hotel room. It's off season, so the kids could play in the pool and I could use the hot tub for 1/2 price.

I think you should skip the mug and go for the keg... to drink so you won't mind the smell!

Hope you get warm water soon!
